17:24 UTC. A Brymon airlines Dash 8 aircraft on a flight between Newcastle and Dublin with 31 people on board, diverted to Ronaldsway for an emergency landing, after smoke was discovered in the passenger cabin. Both the ALB and ILB crew were paged for immediate launch however the flight landed safely and all the passengers were disembarked in the normal fashion before the lifeboats got under way. Stood down at 17:35 UTC. |

14:03 UTC. Called to assist in the search for two divers reported overdue from a drift dive. Whilst the crew was being assembled the divers surfaced and were recovered by their dive support craft. The crew stoodby until it was clear that the two divers had had a normal dive and ascent. The lifeboat was stood down at 14:20 UTC |

19:40 BST. Castletown Coastguard on a patrol reports seeing an unusual object in the water just to the east of Fort Island , Langness. The ILB is requested to investigate. ILB arrives 20 minutes later and locates a large, orange block shaped traffic separator. It is towed to the shore to remove it as a hazard to shipping. Weather cloudy; visibility good; |

Called to assist in the search for 2 divers reported overdue from a drift dive off Gibdale Point, Calf of Man.PSM ALB and ILB, Port Erin Lifeboat, other surface vessels and RAF Seaking helicopter also assisted in the search. Divers successfully located some 2 miles from where they had originally dived.Weather fine ; wind SSW force 3 |
