Northern Irish MFV Cadno with engine failure 5 miles west of Calf of Man; the fishing boat was forced to drop its trawl and marked it with a dan buoy. 54-06 helped to restart the engine with a tow start. The trawler later retrieved its net. |

Yacht Aldabra ran aground on the Cronnag rocks, Gansey bay with 2 persons on board. ILB placed a crewman on board the yacht to assist with & arrange a tow line which had been taken from the ALB; the ALB then towed the yacht to a safe berth at the breakwater - rescued two and saved craft |
