| 5 January | MFV Spaven Mor with fouled propeller 16 miles from PSM; towed back |
| 1 February | Northern Irish MFV Cadno with engine failure 5 miles west of Calf of Man; the fishing boat was forced to drop its trawl and marked it with a dan buoy. 54-06 helped to restart the engine with a tow start. The trawler later retrieved its net. |
| 25 April (14-26 passage) | Rescued 4 divers missing of Start Point, Devon and landed into Salcombe |
| 4 May (14-26 passage) | MFV An Cailin Marie with fouled propeller 20 miles S of Kinsale Head, Co. Cork; towed to Courtmacsherry Harbour [photographs available] |
| 13 May | Diver missing in Calf Sound; Port Erin Lifeboat also launched to assist in a search for the diver. Diver located on Kitterland, a small isle in the middle of the Calf Sound, by another boat and picked up by Port Erin Lifeboat. Wind: SW 1 |
| 6 June | Yacht Aldabra ran aground on the Cronnag rocks, Gansey bay ; towed to safety - rescued two and saved craft |
| 9 June | Yacht Carrissma lost man overboard in near gale conditions ; recovered man who was airlifted to hospital |
| 22 July | Aircraft reported lost on approach to local airport; located crashed on nearby hills - both occupants safe [photographs available] |
| 25 July | Diver reported missing off Spanish Head; located by another vessel the local fishing boat "Pelican".- gave first aid for suspected bends and landed to ambulance. Port Erin Lifeboat also launched. Wind: SW 2 |
| 30 July | Reports of red flares west of the Sound. Port Erin Lifeboat also launched after report of a sighting of Red/Orange flares off Port Erin towards the Calf of Man. Port Erin and Port St. Mary Lifeboats searched an area West off Calf Sound to Port Erin Bay along with Port Erin Cliff Rescue Team ashore, nothing found. Wind: N 5-6 |
| 23 August | Yacht with engine failure in Castletown Bay; others gave help |
| 15 October | MFV Amber Rose sank 1.5 miles S of Calf of Man ; rescued 5 of the 6 crew from liferaft ; search for missing man later called off |
